>>98181316>>98181541now that i got the dumbass disinfo out of the way with my posts here
>>98193514 >>98193944, i will properly provide a rebuttal to you guys
immigration is good, for affordable labor
isolationism is good, for stability
imagine a scale, in both directions, going too far in one direction causes massive problems
with too much immigration, crime becomes a major problem due to competitive cheap labor and a reduction of workers protections
in the other direction, too much isolationism causes stagnation, you become a plateaued market that disincentivizes foreign investment
in equal measures, a society needs sporadic periods of immigration and isolationism, however, each individual society gets to determine that
more immigration means more public works projects and renovation, less workers protections, it is antithetical for the benefits of immigration to provide civil protectionism over it's naturalized citizens
more isolationism means more cultural cohesion and less civil unrest, more worker protection, but a declining population due to lack of desperation, desperate, poorer populations create more children and socialist programs that attempted to fix this have been unsuccessful
hopefully this provides some context to the complexities of the debate to you guys that i am sure you read through since you wish for intelligent conversations
