>>98186934>No but like why aren't Nimi's numbers droppingWell they did, just a lot less or a lot more slowly then everyone was expecting.
Maybe think of it this way:
>Hololive debuts 4-5 girls>A ton of interest from tourists, old fans, new fans, who all try to watch all the new girls streams to see what they are like>Gradually fall into watching the few they like and drop watching the others, some probably drop off entirely after not finding what they want. Some new fans end up picking up some of the older members>Overall box goes up but individual girls experience a seemingly harsher debut buff drop offCompared to Nimi, who likely kept her core audience and maybe got some old fans who fell off watching her to pick her up again. You have the debut tourists and people finding her for the first time, who seem to be sticking around.
Then you have general hololive fans that would watch her as a secondary or tertiary choice, when their main choices weren't streaming. She's probably fallen down the priority list for many of them, and some probably did drop her entirely but it seems like less did then many were expecting.
From looking at hololyzer Nimi seems to be getting more JP chatters in her streams then Fauna did as well, which is just confusing.
There's other theories like mismatch of channel regions and viewer regions, her new channel being less culled or fucked with by youtube then most holoEN channels.
Problem is there's not really a good comparison at the moment to draw conclusions from. Both Aqua and Ame were very inconsistant before leaving, and Dooby and Sakuna are inconsistant now.
The other options is it's still only been a couple of months, maybe see how things settle down over the long term
