Good post. Also no unit cohesion with Bae (and Sana) in Australia/JP, kronii in Canada and Fauna absolutely refusing to do anything but sit at home and stream. Mumei and Bae seemed to try to take leadership and set some things up, but Fauna wouldn't even travel to fucking NY for a concert

At least Kronii actually improved and is pretty decent now, I'll give her credit for that. I still don't know why this gen had so many dickriders saying it was the best thing since sliced bread though, Council / Promise always seemed like a very flawed gen with a distinct lack of passion for achieving things in Hololive

Council thought they could lazy and coast and still get all the money they ever wanted.
Covid ended.
Suddenly the laziest generation ever hired had expectations placed on them to actually do shit and participate in international events.
The company wanting them to do more than 2 hours of work a week is incompatible with the work ethic of Council.
There's your difference in direction.

Because it was a gen made for normies.
Omega's whole plan was to attract more viewers to Hololive by hiring streamers they would find palatable, which in turn brought more normies to this community.
It's why council had such a large jump in ccv back then, they attracted viewers that barely cared about vtubing before. Just like ironmouse did on twitch.
Of course normies would like safe streamers like Fauna, Kronii or Mumei more than weeb ones like Fuwamoco or otakus like Bae and Kiara.
