>>98448191I've also only just read this is the case, I'd like to know if it was actually true for sure. Choosing to abandon being a streamer, even just a part time one, to chase a shitty desk job is still dumb but at least it would inform that she's putting SOME thought into the idea that she should give up on being a content creator.
>>98448226If Superman chose to neglect his superpowers because fighting crime makes his feet hurt, Lex would be right in calling him stupid. Also Lex is bald and I'm not, checkmate
>>98448314If it's an issue with her lungs/breath capacity, that really sucks, but again I struggle with the idea that streaming would be uniquely challenging given that condition vs basically any other job (and why would she even entertain trying to record vocals for song covers if she has issues with her lungs?). The only thing more sedentary is, like, working remotely in software development or something. I'm sure people with similar health issues would love to wake up tomorrow to thousands of people willing to give them $5 a month to sit around and play video games, so I don't see why she would sacrifice that opportunity.
>>98448706HoloJPs fuck up their throats because they're doing a retarded voice, like you said. If Mumei goes indie she can just stop doing the voice and talk normally. Nobody will care. Singing would be infinitely more damaging to her throat than just speaking in her normal voice while streaming video games for a few hours.
Streaming/making youtube videos isn't for everyone because being an entertainer is hard, and it's a skill most people don't have. However, it IS for everyone insofar as, physiologically, it's probably the lowest bar of entry you could ever dream of. If Mumei thinks streaming video games would be too much of a strain on her physiologically, she may as well just be an invalid and sit in a bed for the rest of her life.
