the longer "story" is that after the fallout from the Connor/Cuckbeat drama and menhera meltdown episode Mori had awhile back, she went on a spree of overcompensating in the other direction, spamming collabs, saying how much she loves Hololive and loves her FRIENDS!™ etc., and many people rightly pointed out how weird and arkward that felt, almost forced as if she's only trying to convince her doubters (or even just herself), and since we've been through this whole cycle (Mori doesn't care about Hololive / has a retarded bitch spergout / puts in more effort for non-Holo stuff and people than she does for Holo -> gets called out / realizes oh shit I gotta do something / overcompensates / forces fake enthusiasm for Holo -> things quiet down for a while / cuckbraps are quick to proclaim a reformed Mori 2.0 and that everyone should kneel and apologize -> Mori inevitably drops the ball again sometime later and we're back to square one) enough times already to become wise to the pattern and know it's not gonna get any better, the "FRIENDS!" has become another ironic meme shorthand for Mori fucking up again, especially in the interpersonal sphere (for example, when she seems to care more and show more enthusiasm for non-Holo twitchniggers and ecelebs again (i.e. her actual "friends", or at least the cliques she actually wants to network and ingratiate herself with), than she does for her Hololive "coworkers" again)
