There's a reason the only major event it had was the first match of Logan Paul vs. KSI - even the rematch went to DAZN, as the original match lost reportedly $12 million to piracy on twitch alone.
Nico's system is just better because they have actively using it, promoting it and courting partners for PPV events since at the very least 2009 - they used it enough and had enough time to iron all the kinks.
