You can tell he's trying to be "good" by a warped standard of the word, but that means being wilfully blind so he can believe total absurdities and justify being heartless and small-minded as "good". It illustrates a total lack of understanding of what being a fan of Gura or of Hololive as a whole actually means, it's painfully wrong and ignorant and suggests total obliviousness to what's been going on in the world for decades if not centuries, and worst of all, it ironically shows how little empathy he has by looking down on anyone who doesn't share his hateful, backwards, self-contradictory, deficient and solipsistic morality. He has no appreciation for how different we really are as humans, if he honestly thinks sharing an interest in one particular thing means all of our other, irreconcilable differences can, or even SHOULD be, brushed aside.
You can tell the poor guy is incredibly sheltered and naive, and most likely pretty young too. I was like that myself a long time ago, before I actually had the real experience of living around foreigners and realized we needed our own spaces, that good fences make good neighbors, etc. He has a lot of moral and intellectual growing up to do before he can even learn the basics of good and evil, thanks to a lifetime of brainwashing by modernity. And make no mistake, it's going to be rough.
I stand by what I said last thread though - he's still a chumbie and I'll still post and love Goob with him, and I'll pray that he overcomes the boomer programming he's been forcefed since birth. If I could see that I was wrong and that there's a better way for us humans to live, then anyone can. It just fucking kills me to know that some of you buds are genuinely victims of this brainworm. I mean it, it makes me physically fucking sick.
He was right about one thing, at the very least - he has better things to do than get mad at me for telling him the truth and trying to show him right from wrong. I hope he utilizes his time well.
