>>98866644I think really the biggest mistake she made was growing too complacent and believing her fanbase would stick with her and continue donating no matter what she did. Like the random groomer drama is annoying but I doubt most of her actual viewers knew/cared about it, the bigger issue was that she attempted to pivot her content in a really poorly executed way that ignored why most of her current audience was watching her in the first place, and once she'd removed their incentive to watch they went and found somebody else.
There ARE ways streamers can successfully pivot themselves into a new niche, but it needs to be a gradual process with constant monitoring and reassessing along the way. You can't just take your audience for granted and assume they'll stick with you after you remove whatever it was that drew them to you in the first place.
