no man wants to sit there and watch the girl thats been subliminally conditioning them to be attracted to her voice and persona in exchange for support and donations get cozy onstream with a guy and laugh at his jokes and crap, ESPECIALLY when that guy is a fucking homostar nepohire doxxmonkey that acts like he can do anything and has an in with them.
its a tacit understanding in this business and theyre either disingenuous or extremely naive and ignorant to dismiss it. no one says it out loud but we all know it.
just as no guy wants to hear his girlfriend or a romantic interest talk about some other guy or an ex, no one wants to tune into a stream and hear some tard's voice making sex jokes at or around her, because thats what those collabs turn into because male vtubers are bereft of tact, they are there for their own benefit. they arent merely trying to network and grow, they arent looking to make interesting content or even merely to have fun with friends. they're there to try and dip their pen in the company ink, test the waters onstream to see how receptive they are to that sort of thing.
and then fans of the male will start shitting up the place drawing art and talking about them in that context, she is reduced to armcandy and you can never talk about them without some retard going "OMG lol imagine if she did this with [male] omg that would be epic"
its just a headache, so why would any self respecting person put time into that vtuber like that? watch them casually, maybe, but inspire an idolesque, fervent admiration? why devote time or money towards people that are openly contemptuous of you, or associate with people who are and antagonize your fans? to say nothing of having to occupy spaces with people that want nothing but to tear you down and make your time here unfun by your association with her.
i just think its really stupid to bemoan being lost at sea for years and be thrown a golden lifesaver, only to poke holes in it because you got bored or complain about the way you were rescued.
