can't we just enjoy that? it's one of the things i've liked about hololive from the beginning. i've always been very avoidant of corporate, very commercialized entertainment media, and i guess vtubers have awoken some repressed poptimism in me or something. i like it because its commercialized slop that's actually novel, instead of commercialized slop that's just nostalgiabait - if that makes sense?
it's a guilty pleasure i guess.
