I have just been at a complete loss because leaflit made the decision to keep her 2 groomer mods in their place because the youtube money is still money coming in and she's reduced their pay. Her dutch boyfriend doesn't really care about the dead community because there's still money comey coming in for them and he doesn't care about her having friends.
She's using the youtube video money for the TTRPG instead, while also paying two more of her friends to join the writing team for her instead of doing it herself or using chatGPT as she's been doing.
There's no place left for me or the others to even try to convince her that she's being exploited by everybody around her because they have her fully convinced that they rely on her to pay them a living wage instead of getting jobs themselves. She willingly accepts this instead of having to do the work herself. All she has to do is wake up every day, make dinner for her and her mom and then turn the stream on and spit out whatever right-wing polslop commentary her mods have collected for her on the day. Then maybe play a video game and that's it. The streams are incredibly phoned in at this point and the people she's paying aren't even updating the schedule or anything else.
The stream exists to make videos to go up on the youtube channel, edited by the worst clipper you've ever seen and signed off by a chilean landlord who she calls her assistant director. Who by the way is now being seen modding for other vtubers as well when, while being paid a salary to exist, says that they can't moderate the daily racists and polslop normies in her discord anymore, or finish his scheduled work on the ttrpg or even update the schedule slides for the stream since february.
The entire community has been in a freefall landslide since november, everybody has been replaced by low iq politics enjoyers. "Mods can't be here all the time" they say when called out. But the discord has like 10 people with mod priviledges and only like 50 people actually chatting daily between two main channels and they make every excuse in the world not to have to ban their last remaining fanbase whole also push their idologies and use her as a platform.
The stream view counts are botted, nobody is talking in chat despite the number saying 700-800 viewers. The youtube channel says it gains 200-600 new subscribers a day with no engagement on the videos and less than 15k views with supposably 80k subscribers. "I read the youtube comments every day" yeah but you shouldn't be able to if the numbers were not faked.
I don't need to pretend to humor anybody that I was there in 2003 in the Something Awful offshoot group that created 4chan or anything I did in that time. Most of the people who still post here now weren't even born yet to even care about what I did.
I'm not a Schizo or a Scorned lover as some of the others may post or call me. I was an old friend who watched someone they respected and cared for willingly chose to ruin their life because they got convinced by others who manipulated her because the concept of money came into play. The things I've done out of frustration of watching that and still watching that can't be atoned for, but, it was of her own chosing to do so.
The three people she needs to get rid of in company and her life are so deeply embedded now that there's no way she can do anything about her situation. The TTRPG takes too much precidence over anything else. She's not really a streamer anymore except in name and spirit. It exists to make money to fund her overbloated "free" TTRPG campaign.
It is preferable that I don't speak though because nobody really talks about leaflit on these boards unless it's tongue-in-cheek /ourgirl/ shit anyway. I'd prefer to keep it that way instead of participating in the sad story she's become. Though if she does want me to help turn things back around for her then all she has to do is talk to me about it. But I don't expect her to ever change her mind and neither should anyone else.
