When I was a young child, in the late 90s, tapir broke into our village granary. They consumed all the stored dried fruit, and tore open the grain and rice sacks and trampled and befouled them. We all went hungry that spring and many people became ill from malnutrition and disease, including my younger sister. She survived by was weak and ill for the rest of her life and died from complications in her early 20s. I know that Nimi likely does not know this but I can't watch her now or forgive her for choosing a tapir as her avatar. People do not realize how harmful they are to rural communities and she has a duty to raise awareness.
