>>98980866>Don't like it, don't watch. I didn't.You're completely missing the point. Imagine you're Shiori, you know that some of your fans don't like homo collabs, you also know that some of those fans faithfully supported you, defended you, bought your merch and sacrificed time and money to support you because you're their oshi. Now you've decided to do a homo collab, which is your right. Do you:
A. Let your fans know ahead of time, explain your choice and be honest, thank them for their support til this point so they can leave knowing why you did what you did
B. Hide the collab for as long as possible then reveal it not explaining anything, have your mod team delete all comments even remotely critical of the collab, hide and never explain anything hoping those fans who dislike it will simply be weeded out by homobeggars
A is respectful toward your fans. B is incredibly disrespectful. And this isn't just about being an "idol" it would really go for any streamer with any content change, if she started spamming APEX stream after APEX stream with no explanation and banning people saying they don't like APEX it would be equally disrespectful to her audience.
It's not a high bar to just explain things and treat your fans like you're grateful for their support and not accessories who can and should be discarded the moment you decide to change your entire brand on a whim. That's why Nerissa is getting praised for just clearing the air.
