if you're an autist and you don't like things left open to interpretation narratively then you might not enjoy the story.
gameplay wise the materia system is great cool, but i won't sit here and tell you everything else is flawless. it's a classic, but not a masterwork -- if that makes sense. if you have no patience for old games then avoid it
