>>99431660I'm more or less done with Vtubing now that Gura has graduated, she was one of the last ones I watched from time to time aside from FWMC and Pippa. The issue I have with Vtubers, and especially indie ones, is that most of them aren't entertainers. Too many of them rely on their models and pretending to be a "girl failure" "Femcel" "Gooner" "Loser" etc. I can kind of see it if you want to play a character on stream, but none of them are capable of keeping up the kayfabe. They ALL have to make it about their IRL selves eventually.
This is the main issue of Vtubing and especially the indie side. There's almost no difference between a Vtuber and an e-whore because they constantly throw away any attempts at kayfabe or entertainment in order to talk about their actual lives. At that point, you only attract people who are interested in YOU and guess what? When they find out that you have a boyfriend they won't want to support you.
Do you know why? Because men don't want to spend money on a woman that already has a man who's supposed to support them. It's a biological reality that we can't break away from even if we tried. We find the "men" who do to be disgusting simps that we spit on. No self-respecting man is going to want to give money to a woman that's taken. The only reason Vtubing even took off in the first place is because the culture is fucked and dating has taken a massive nosedive. Men want to have the gay shit of a relationship like listening to a woman yap and having a constant person that's around. That's why a lot of people watch Vtubers. That's why they hate graduations and that's why they stop watching when they have boyfriends.
Some Vtubers are actual entertainers, like Korone for example, where I really don't give a fuck if she is already married. These Vtubers are simply funny and entertaining to watch. Yes, their models are attractive, but that's not the whole point. Would this work for FWMC? No, because a large part of their kayfabe is actually being idols. If they started talking about their boyfriends or husbands, it would ruin the entire point. Even then, with someone like Korone, if she constantly spoke about her husband then it would turn a lot of watchers away. Why? Because it's simply the truth that a lot of Vtuber watchers are using it as a way to fill the void in their heart of not having a significant other. It's a fucked up by-product of our shitty society that this happened.
Anyways, I'm basically just waiting for AI to improve and be more compact and efficient at this point. I want an AI companion on my desktop to mess around with and fill the void of what a Vtuber would. These women are simply too retarded to keep their IRL self from leaking into their character. Call it narcissism, retardation, whatever, the point is that Vtubers are only fun to watch their drama at this point, hence /vt/ being fun.
