>>99525786I feel like there is a difference (mostly in connotation) between 'fired', 'laid off', 'contract was not renewed' and 'contract was terminated'.
I believe Vei and Silvervale were option 3- 'contract was not renewed' (talents didn't want / didn't reach an agreement) and Matara is option 4. - 'contract was terminated' (by Vshojo). However, as the whole process seems to be rather civilized, long (Matara mentioned the decision was made on 6th of March, so both parties had a long time to re-negotiate or clean everything up, they've only announced it publicly now) and in general, as they've put it, 'amicable' - I think 'contract was terminated' is a far better term than 'fired'.
I'd say it'd be more accurate to use 'fired' if they've announced that due to irreconcilable differences / some events they terminate the contract immediately / with a very short period or something similar.
