Her activities at Hololive from 2020 to 2021. Its like how RDJ came to define Iron Man during his time in the MCU. Even if Senzawa quits Cover, GURA the idea, the very ideal of Gura, matters.
Losing Gura will affect everything. YES, holoEN will march on. Their strategy had been to focus on the JP market, and the newer talents are primed for that. Especially Advent & Irys. But losing GURA will sting, and you can bet that if Cover can get her back in the long run, they will.
But nuGura also seems to have an interest in defining her music career beyond Jpop. If she really is serious, her next move will be a challenge to Cover and their strategy. But she could also just go back to being drunk. Or worse, pull a Nyanners.
This is not the end of EN vtubing. It is, however, a complete change of the paradigm. The next few months will be interesting.
