>>99619269The problems that she had were amplified by her success, but the issues themselves are not exclusive to her. Management interrupting or stopping projects is basically a requirement for them to do at this point, no one escapes that. No top holo in the company can just DO something in peace, same applies to her. She had her game choices be very limited, ideas for streams limited, at some point she basically said she had to watch what she said because they were keeping an eye out for her words due to branding, so on. I assume things got more and more restrictive at the time. Some holos are ok with that and they work around it, mind you, it's not necessarily the end of the world. But for her, it was clearly a big issue and the cancelled song is probably ONE of the many other reasons she decided to quit. Remember, she said it was a long time coming. By year 2 or 3 she may have already wanted out but stuck around anyway.
And since she's leaving anyway I may as well say this now: she wasn't setting up her indie account either 3 years ago, it's a recent thing. She has also been implying an eventual return in a subtle way, and by that I mean she's been as subtle as a brick to the fucking mouth. She really did hold on as best she could but things did not improve. Remember it wasn't just her, JP girls too had a hard time dealing with whatever the fuck management is doing in the background. I'm not gonna sit here and argue whether or not she didn't stream because of that or due to some other reason, it invites schizo loops and I just don't give a fuck to entertain that. Point is, she ended up leaving now, for reasons that are the same as other girls and not exclusive to Gawr Gura. Though BECAUSE she was Gawr Gura, the issues might have been amplified because they kept tabs on her even more than other ENs, making it worse. Kiara also just implied Gura had to deal with a lot of shit, maybe more so than other Myth members.
