>>99631352>>99631018Yeah, same sentiment here. What was so weird was how nobody here even cared that the site was gone for almost 2 weeks. Quite eerie, but expected. People come here by force of habbit. It's quite clear that moderation sucked before, and sucks even more now. Who would even apply for a new janny or mod after the security shit? Though it's pointless to complain, you'd just be banned. My only gripe with this is if manual moderation is too much, implement self-regulation systems. I think the japanese 4chan has that where reports are visible. Ids would allow hiding enmasse. Both of those would be unneeded if proper moderation would be in place.
>and thats how i know youre newfags and touristsWell yeah, it would actually be worse for the internet if autists had free "anonymous" reign to actually discuss topics.
On topic tax time:
>>99631018It's an overall difficult position. You'd expect that the biggest vtuber, outside cookieswirl iirc, would go out with a bigger bang and that must weight down on Gura as well. Still, at least myth minus Ame got back one last time. I maintain the claim that Gura would've been much happier if she debuted with Advent or Justice, where there wouldn't be many eyes on her. Alternatively you could make the case that knowing the direction of the company and the standardization of recruiting would put it off and she wouldn't have joined in the first place.
We might never know the things behind closed doors and to analyze every event that got Gura where she ended up. Maybe management was really bad and offputing, being the biggest factor, maybe it was just being #1, maybe it was the fan expectation(which strongifies my previous point).
Though, she'll be back, her not!Gura account made it quite obvious.
Hope that she, and all girls, past or present Hololive the best. Everything fails and crumbles with time and apathy, it's pushing against that tide that brings success and fulfillment.
