>>99687286Consider the following two groups of people:
>people who would have a negative opinion about Anycolor if they were to fire Twisty for whistleblowing, even if they word the announcement in such a way that doing so does not violate relevant Japanese labor laws>people whose opinion Anycolor actually cares aboutIf there are any people who are in both groups, you could fit all of them into a church van without any lap-sitters, and still have enough room on the rearmost bench seat to bring the grill, charcoal, and meats they'd need to have a barbeque.
While you're right that they're waiting for the contracts to run out before disposing of them, it's not fear of fan backlash that's currently keeping the company from firing Twisty - they're only waiting. The plan is to wait until either the day before her contract expires or a specific date that's about 5-10 days before Aster's contract expires, whichever date is earlier; then they'll officially fire Twisty on that date, wait a couple of days, announce that they're pulling a Gundou on Aster, and then have him slander her on stream during his "graduation" stream.
And it will be an actual termination for Twisty, not a Yugo/Ike style or Gundou style "graduation," because a bona fide termination will be significantly worse than a nominal "graduation" for her post-Niji career (or at least they think it'd be worse for her)
If Anycolor cared about the opinions of the western fans, they would have fired Aster for sexual harassment months ago when Twisty first complained about him.
