>>99737602Ironically, the problem is that much of the current management *can't* simply accept girls playing an hour of video games every day. They have to have them jump through a bunch of bureaucratic hoop bullshit too because that 'feels productive' and seems 'more productive' and 'shows dedication' to their diseased minds.
This is a recurrent problem with public companies that are legally required to have 'rationalized' management by highly credentialled MBA grads, which means reducing 'the whole of the art' to quantifiable metrics that can be shown on a spreadsheet at a powerpoint presentation; which means more useless meetings, more useless paperwork, more useless busybodying that shows more billable hours 'at work' on a spreadsheet, and so on.
'So what is your plan to increase productivity' says MBA one to MBA two. 'Uh, lets require everyone to fly to japan and do dance lessons and more meetings and shit'.
Because obviously 'the streamer that streams and also does XYZ too' sounds better than 'just' a 'streamer who streams', right? But of course that misses the whole point of this exercise, which is cute girls doing cute things. The very way they look at the world in general is incompatible with a business like virtual streaming. They can see quantity but can't see quality.
They (new management) are psychologically incapable of simply sitting tight on a good thing and keeping a good thing going. They can't quantify having a good thing going regardless of whether 'more effort' is being put into it or not, so they fuck up the core competency by pushing for extraneous bullshit.
Many such cases.
