>>99792586>>99792776>>99792649I guess I should tell my story a bit briefly. I got into the Hololive fandom in early 2023. I heard of chuubas but never realy paid much attention. Then one thing led to another, and I ended up playing Idol Showdown. And then Connect the world was announced. I started watching Gura at the time, as well as went down the rabbit hole of Hololive. There were a lot of talks about her mythic rise to a million subs, though also talk about how she had become less active by that time. And yet, what I did see of her seemed interesting.
Connect the world was great, but then I was teased with EN3. I remember being psyched for Fuwamoco because of the twins novelty, but eventually found myself gravitating to Biboo. If I had to pin down a reaosn, it was mainly because I kept waiting for Gura to stream. And, when Gura wasn't streaming, Biboo felt like a natural fit. Yeah, people say they're different, but a lot of the zoomer humor and memeing seemed similar between early Gura and Biboo. Its why I considered myself more of a pebble then a chumbud: as much as I started with Gura, I found myself watching and like Biboo more due to her activity. But I still hung to the hope that Gura would stream more, as her streams were always a big deal when she did stream.
And now she's gone. I don't want to say that Biboo has replaced Gura because fuck that: Gura was special. Even if she was checked out at the end of it all. I will miss Gura. But I am thankful that I also had been following the idol journey of Biboo.
