Its also not as simple as 'one leaving', it was a decision of a bunch of people within the branch. Its likely that Nimi decided it first, and Gura was contemplating it. The question she put forward before her memebrs was more of a question, as if she was on the fence about it.
Its likely this was also related to the discussion about "Kiara's worst fears". Knowing Kiara's belief in Myth unity, I think it did crush her that two of her genmates were planning to depart due to frustrations with management over stalled projects.
End of the day a lot of is speculation and unless someone posts some long ass document that fucks shit up, we won't know.
