The thing fansly anon said, about how some of the things on the fansly archive are over 70 bucks or that butt shake video being 120, got me thinking about this. Her having a Fansly always felt weird and a bit I guess "out of character" from her usual streaming persona and she gets incredibly weird around it, not wanting it to be associated with her stream persona much I get the feeling, which was always a bit odd to me. She should have full control over what decisions she makes, but its somewhat apparent she doesn't want some of them linked with each other and I always found it odd, but nothing noteworthy. Now that I read how expensive some of the things there are however, I am seriously questioning: why? And before you immediately jump to the "she wants to make money duh", yes, but she is so incredibly weird about money at large. I remember recently watching the clip where she first exploded and that reaction, the crying, felt super genuine to me, similarly, recently at weebcon she remarked how she doesn't like spending "chat's money", was super unsure about buying big man blastoise, and said she even wasn't buying furniture because of that and honestly, maybe I am just a parasocial retard, that didn't feel faked to me. To then turn around and do this Fansly stuff, which she KNOWS (she's been around the internet and isn't retarded) prays on vulnerable people in her community and is in no way really defendable from a price perspective, just seems... contradictory. Calloused even and I am getting a feeling that's why she doesn't like bringing it up. I don't want to imply that her stream persona is calculated to that point, as I said it felt genuine, but surely if she really felt THIS bad about spending chat's money, as well as how much she de facto DOES spent back in form of just subs or buying stupid shit for stream or broken shit, wouldn't it not just be logical, but also emotionally close at hand to NOT do this shit? I guess she sees money as a necessity for growth, funding her antics, but I don't know how to feel about that growth coming at the cost of the people who admire her. Or at least that is the well intended reading of this, because I don't want to imply she is consciously curating that image to manipulate people. (and I never got that impression)
