Honestly, people shouldn't expect much of a difference in content output from any ex-holo. If they were still streaming like Fauna prior to leaving, they're probably going to keep on streaming, and if they weren't streaming much like Gura/Mumei/Ame, they're probably not going to stream much post-Hololive. When someone is burnt out or lazy, it's really hard to get out of that funk if there's very little financial incentive to do so.

Cool tech costs a shit ton of money.

To get access to cool tech, you have to work hard.

Ame/Dooby doesn't like to work hard without a kick in the ass. And you can't argue with that, since she not only streams very little even without Holo, but in the streams themselves there is much less mention of doing anything behind the scenes.

Conclusion - Ame/Dooby could very well return to Hololive to get access to cool technology. But not necessarily in the form of a streamer.
