>>9995798The song is a fucking mess.
>Mixing: Shit, but that seems to be about as expected with Cover corpo songs, where the ones who DON'T have shit mixing are in the minority.>Arrangement: what the hell, it sounds like someone slapped three disparate layers of arcade video gaym soundtracks over each other. No flow, no coherent arc, too many "talking" segments>Lyrics: some out-of-touch jap who only knows the Holos involved from their most superficial meme clips shat this together, hell why didn't you let the talents write the lyrics themselves, it couldn't have been worse and they'd have some better personal connection with it to make this soulless manufactured garbage at least a bit more meaningful>Vocal performance: Overprocessed into oblivion as per usual, sasuguh producer-san.Overall, this just isn't a very good song. Now, for all the copetards deflecting in the threads, just remove your personal biases for once. Yes, we like all the girls involved, so we naturally tend to rationalize this stuff because we think admitting this is a bad song is a personal attack on the girls, and we don't want that, so we cope "i-it's not that bad..." or lash out at the people who point out that the emperor has no clothes. But imagine if this wasn't a song with girls you already know and like, but just a video from random strangers you stumbled across. Would you still think it's just as good? Would you still make the same excuses? Honestly, probably not.
And before I see the same attempts at counterarguments and "b-but.."'s in the thread again, I actually like most of the songs that the involved talents have made personally. Ahoy is a fucking banger, Reflect and Violet are also great, so yeah seems like it IS possible to produce actually good songs (how? Basically, see the list above, and just do the opposite), so pointing out that THIS song isn't very good doesn't mean you don't like girls or never liked any of their music at all.
