So I had a sudden drive to do some work on my long put off vector and I had a question in my mind about G-meshes. How important is it to follow the natural shape of the thing you are using the G-mesh on? In the image i have the lines more or less following the natural curves of the face and I was thinking that not following that curve might produce very different results in the gradients. Another question off the top of my head, what are some guidelines you stick to when doing G-meshes?
