>>2230211This is nice but a few things are bothering me: Firstly, the antialiasing. Just export in 5-10x the resolution and this should go away.
The face needs a little more attention - Just having the cheekbone line connect smoothly, the jaw be one constant line, and the hair highlights being sharp would go a long way to making it read well.
A few overlaps and line intersections are wrong - if you're going to use lines instead of filled shapes for your line work, it's important to be careful with your thickness and to avoid square line ends so you don't get those sharp nubs.
The hairline is strange - I don't see anything in the original besides a faint transition of color that indicates that grey line, and if you were trying to capture the reddish tone that continues into the sunglasses, a large thick line of even width or a gradient would have worked without the distracting one pixel shadow around the ears.
This said, I'm not the requester, so if he's happy I'm happy. Just sharing my thoughts since I made all of these mistakes and more on my first render, and I found it helpful when an anon pointed them out.
