I figured out my .xinitrc issue... I only set up .Xresources in root... heh. Also put
it in .bashrc but I don't see that being an issue.
I have a (hopefully) small question... when opening a program such as ampv or firefox from a terminal (or from within ranger) is there any way to have the terminal return to prompt (or ranger) whilst the program still runs? I know at least with firefox I can have it exit when launching, but it'd be nice to return to ranger when playing a video or such.
