>>1785290For the knuckles, they need to be sharper and less rounded. You still need to use smooth nodes, but those knuckles need to be somewhat boney looking, otherwise they look too rounded and fat. You also remove many of the bending and articulation of the hand, often having very flat surfaces before and after the knuckles, when they should be bending much more to give emphasis that the hands are being pressed against another person. You also need to add more of the folds on the gloves. This shows the scrunching and wrinkling and adds to the hand in general.
Not sure what you mean with the hair. There is plenty of space to curve, even at the borders. If you have to, you can simply draw outside of the artboard to give you more room. So long as you export with the artboard, nothing outside of it will show up in the final product.
The circle (or ellpise) tool is a tool in Illustrator. Press L and start making circles. Pressing M will give you the Rectangle tool.
