now I just type what i want into the search box and hit ctrl-enter if I want it as a playlist. Or ctrl+shift-enter if I want an autoplaylist (good for genres and dates). usually I set up small queues of music via middle click as well.
Whatever it is that you want from foobar there is most likely a way to do it. But in the end use whatever you find most comfortable.
