The extensions of

I draw with a mouse, so I also have difficulty getting smooth curves.
So I create ellipses. These are on another layer so they can be moved, rotated, stretched and distorted to blend in.
They can then be either left in place or used as edges to limit a selection when painting or filling on the "base layer.
Mathematically perfect.
That's how I completed the head in
>>2216030In this example, all 4 ellipses are identical, but different ones can be easily placed tangentially to form compound-curves. Just takes a bit more experimentation.
