>>1804305>>1804307I think the reason I don't want to share even my poorly written HTML scripts for a homepage of all things is because I spent hours trying to realize a vision of what I wanted my desktop to look like, it all started from an idea I had 'wow wouldnt that be cool if my desktop had this' the intention was never for it to be used or sold or given away like so many github projects
Even really really simple stuff like my waifu-notifications I don't want to give out because the entire thing spawned from a personal vision of 'my desktop should have this'.
It kills me when I see other peoples things duplicated, they just saw a desktop and thought 'hell that looks cool , my desktop should look like that too'.
Its mean for me to do, its a dick move; but its how I feel and I will try and justify it.
if my thing is a modification of someones elses product I always put effort into helping them find the original, or even modifying it in the same way.
I hope anyone understands this, and I understand if you disagree
