- for round objects like goggles, eyes, buttons, etc., use the ellipsis tool, it's faster and looks smoother
- layer objects over one another to prevent transparent seams, and use clips and masks for parts that have multiple colors, such as shading
- use strokes only when you know the effect you want to get with them, otherwise use fills and tapered ends
- as few nodes and handles as possible. seems like you know to do this most of the time, but appear to slip at times
- the gloves look fucked, i think i know what you intended there, but the execution is messy, again, use tapered fills or clipped shading to show individual fingers, kinda like here
