I've done as much as I can with it to try and sway people in other directions, but really it's hard to deter people away from solid dark backgrounds and single color schemes when its easy and tends to look good no matter what. I also organized it by popular demand (mostly).

Thats weird though, are you using the bblean wallpaper or wallpapers through windows 7? check under settings>config>graphics and enable or disable smart wall and background if you haven't tried that with bblean, a reboot or relog wouldnt hurt either.
