>>1822008You are using way too many nodes in all areas of the image. The hair is the most atrocious. That area should be very smooth, and is instead very jagged. You need to only place nodes at the tips of hair and give those nodes handles. See this image for reference.
Here is what I recommend. Go find another image with one character that is relatively up close. Try doing the image (at minimum, the hair) while taking into account the amount of nodes required, and their placement. Then, post it here at high resolution (300 PPI minimum) on its own with a transparent background. Post the original as well. I will then do some of it from the original and critique what you're doing wrong.
