Hi /w/, first-timer here with making vectors. I have experience with making renders though so I sorta know what I'm doing with the pen tool.
Just wondering though - can the techniques described in the Inkscape guide be applied in Illustrator too? If so, how? The bezier tool in Inkscape sounds pretty tasty, it looks a lot easier to use than the pen tool in Illustrator. I'm comfortable with the pen tool with making renders in Photoshop but I get easily frustrated with vectoring here in Illustrator using the pen tool.
Any other tips to make vectoring easier and faster too? I'm making designs for car stickers and 300dpi forces me to use vectors for high quality output. Vectoring feels really time-consuming for me and I want to get this out of the way so that I can start with the fun and creative part which is making the actual sticker design.
Pic related, it should show my sloppy pen tool work in Illustrator.
thanks /w/
