Nothing sits centred on the horizontal axis created by the green block.
If your icons were centre they would not run into the black lines. They would fit in that large gap left by the widget. Your widget will never be centre with the icons where they sit because they are too small in comparison.
Ideally they will all line up on a single point of symmetry. Like the top of my image shows.
