>>2177756>Again I was wary of making proactive decisions like you have with shapes. If I didn't trace the studio I figured I would hurt the expression. The zero two you linked demonstrates this. The smoothed-out and tapered lines overstate the white of her teeth, and the shadow at the corner of her mouth is almost nonexistent. The vector has the technical features you want but they do not convey her expression with the surety of the original cell.Phux's looks better in almost every way. Animators have to work REALLY fast, mistakes and wobbly lines are par for the course and your job as the vectorist is to FIX THE ERROR's. You don't have to get out 200 drawings a day and can spend all the time you need fixing and correcting issues.
>Well yeah this is what my OP was about. I was unhappy about how to approach the lines. I read your earlier posts too and I'm sorry you're having to pretty much repeat yourself on my account- I've done things in the wrong order, you see:This is what I mean when I said USE SHAPES NOT STROKES and why I asked if you watched the videos, if you watched the videos you would know what shapes mean and to do them first, doing color first is a terrible idea and not sure why you would do it that way as you only made things WAY harder on your self as you could not use the outlines to hide the color gaps.

Also I guess project update? This is taking longer than I though but its slowing coming along
