>>2210155Are you sure? PNG is generally better than jpg in my experience. I just made this in GIMP, turned out double the size of the banded gradient, but it's smooth as butter. And if I turn dithering off, it's still less banded at a mere 19.4KB.
That's why I asked about software, because the file formats aren't the limiting factor here.
