>>1837081You got much of the lineart down for a first vector. However, there are still many areas of the hair and face that need some work.
For the hair, the major line for the back of the head is too lumpy. Minimize nodes. Only place nodes at the endpoints/v tips, and at the top of the head. Then, extend the handles to see how much they can effect the given area. Do not extend them too far to where they become flat where the nodes are. You want them to stay rounded. Once you have seen how far the handles could go, then add pairs of nodes in areas that the handles could not achieve. The highlight on the hair is very stiff and doesn't flow correctly. Draw it all as one shape and make sure to use smooth nodes for the major curve.
For the eyes, use the circle tool for both the pupils and the eye circle. You should also use the circle tool for the highlights, and the highlights should be the same color as the white for the eye. For the left eyebrow, you have an odd cutout. It may be a bad Inkscape export, so update to the latest beta version if that is the case. For the bottom eyelashes, end them with sharp points, and make sure the white of the eye is going properly in them. The nose is inconsistent and odd. Keep it smooth with usually a teardrop or a reverse teardrop. End the mouth points with sharp nodes as well. Other circled lineart not mentioned are consistency issues.
The coloring also has some issues. For one, you have numerous areas of color peeking. Place a high contrasting background behind the image and look for errors. The rest of the coloring is fairly faded. Mess with the HSB scale, especially Saturation, and use fanart with better color choices to pick from. The blush is also terrible, but I can't harp you on it too much since it is in the tutorial. For future vectors, just know that you want the blush to be very soft and the spreading of the colors to be gradual.
Either way, good job. It's better than most first vectors.
