I also feel like you're using too much handles for some simple lines. You could some lines perfectly with 2 handles while you do it with 4. Okay you got some more control over it but when something is wrong you'll have to change 4 handles instead of 2 so you'll eventually lose more time setting 4 handles right than with 2.
Besides consistency and overlapping issues there isn't a lot to be talked about. Just fix the things I mentioned (or try) and finish your colouring and then post it again.
