>>1849424I had fun with it since I got to make and play with patterns. They don't always do what you expect them to and there are 3 layers of them that I had to line up at an angle (they want to go back to 90º) and clipping/transparency masks. That is how I got the dots darker in shadows and gradient shadows while using patterns. This is the image of the outline mode, it is quite simple linework/fillwork.
I also like giving JPGC shit, it humor's me.
TL;DR - for the other vectorers...
I got the dots to work by making a simple dot to use as a pattern the light color.
Copied it and made one with the dark color.
Then made squares with the pattern: 1 light on bottom, 3 dark on top.
>NOTE: you can't fill the separate items, the patterns won't line up. don't line move/angle yet, this will revert the transformations.I then made a mask for the edge of the blanket to finish the shape. I only masked he edge for the light dots and dark fading dots.
Then do the transparency mask and mask the parts with shadows.
Only now, select the 4 dot layers and rotate/move.
