powerlevel means as much as the level of how much of an otaku you are, or rather the level of the things you use to display that.
Hide-your-powerlevel means as much as hiding just how much of a horrible person you are, while still being identifiable as such by equally horrible people, thus, these wallpapers, which you wouldn't know are from any anime unless you actually watched the anime.
