>>1539225It really depends on the person. I started off with Inkscape and got attached to doing linework with it. Though after a while, it just wasn't good enough for the coloring. It really felt like it was holding me back. So I migrated to Illustrator and I really don't see any point to go back now. I attached an exemple of what I could acheive with both Inkscape and Illustrator using only gradients and blurs. In my opinion, there is much more to gain from Illustrator than just gradient meshes.
