The pic isn't mine, I'm not using awesome, and I'd probably use i3 anyway but why would you go out of your way to do this on windows? Have you so little ram in this time and day that you actually need to conserve resources? Or is it just that windows looks like shit and linux and bsd have a choice oriented multi-faceted approach.
