89 or '90. I wasn't aware that I was watching a foreign film, but was captivated. I was around 6 years old. I remember the princess at the end of the movie looking somehow gorgeous. Out of all the 'pretty' girls in any american animation I've seen, I saw something different about her. Even at that age, I could be drawn in by the cuteness of anime girls before I knew what was up.
This picture sucks, but it's the closest to wallpaper I could find short of torrenting the film and taking my own screenshot.
