If you don't want to use UCCW, you can use what I use (since I'm lazy) which is DIGI clock, that allows you to change fonts and resize the widget easily but it won't look as good as one you built your own.
I also agree that the icons are too close to her hair. Either make the icons smaller or remove the margins on the sides of the screen in your settings.
Music widget wise, I like Shuttle, but that's a whole new music player. If you aren't too attached to your current player look into it, it's got a great interface.
I would also recommend scaling her down slightly, you don't want any overlapping, considering you have so little space to put a clock that would fit the scale of your icons. You could also scale down your icons though.
