>>1803322>>1803446The problem with names is that most of the time you can tell exactly what it's from. See, for example,
>>1801839 which is obviously SAO. Or, it's the name of a popular character, etc. I would argue that
>>1803315 isn't powerlevel either.
So, that said, I propose a new OP.

What is a powerlevel wallpaper? It is a wallpaper that is subtle, and hides what anime is being featured, and often hides that it is from anime at all. Good examples include insignias and logos, recognizable clothing in the absence of the character (for example, hair or boob ribbons), or the names of organizations and/or phrases within the show that would not be known by someone who hasn't seen the show.
Above all, powerlevel is SUBTLE. Whatever show a powerlevel wallpaper portrays, it should be something that looks good to someone who doesn't know what it is, but it is a neat little nod for anyone who DOES know what it is.
What powerlevel is not:
Anything that straight up tells you what anime it's from by giving the name of the anime, or by altering a word or two of the anime (like saying Shit Taste Online instead of Sword Art Online)
Any image that features a character's face, or most of their body. This includes many minimalist wallpapers which are better-suited for minimalism threads. This does NOT necessarily exclude mascots and non-human creatures, so long as they meet other criteria.
Any image that includes a character's name, if the character is immediately obvious from their name. There is some wiggle room here, if all other criteria are met.
Screenshots of landscapes or cityscapes. Those are generally pretty obviously anime, and while they are good in their own right, they are not powerlevel. There is wiggle room if it otherwise hides its origin, but in general a screenshot of a landscape is not going to be powerlevel.
Screenshots are poor quality and you should avoid them. If it's been doctored to be in good quality, go ahead.
