in this Yellow was first, with the dark yellow strips on the sleeve combined with a solid block for the cloth, clip it with the sleeve shape as on the right.
The second and third shapes done are Green, then Teal (light blue)
The only tricky bit was where the scarf and coat meet and shift who is in front on the far left of the image. There i duplicated both the dark blue and purple lines, then cut off the overhang of the purple and cut apart the blue in the place purple crosses over, then combined the two new paths into the purple on the right, extending the dark blue after. Then red as the finger that goes inside the scarf. everything else should be pretty simple.
I may have not explained things the best here or gone into enough technical detail, but I hope you understand what I am trying to explain, if not, ask further and I or someone more coherent and less tired will hopefully answer.
